Every day you will be shown a word puzzle with the beginning and ending missing, leaving only the core of the word visible. Alongside it, you will see a definition and the total number of letters in the full word. Your challenge is to work out the complete word that fits both the definition and the letter count. Sometimes the middle part will give the game away quickly, other times it may really get you thinking. A fresh word challenge awaits you daily.
All you need to do is guess the full word. If you get it right, you will earn 2 entries into the prize draw. Even if your answer is not correct, you will still receive 1 entry just for taking part. The visible middle section will always be in the correct position within the final word, so use it as your clue. At the end of the month, all entries will be pooled together, and one lucky winner will be drawn at random.
The competition started on 1st February 2026 and runs until the end of the month. The final question will be posted on 28th February 2026, with the winner announced here on 1st March 2026. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If the prize is not claimed by 11am on 2nd March 2026, it will be forfeited, and no late claims will be accepted.
