Every day you’ll see a festive image with a nostalgic twist. Hidden inside is a classic Christmas item for you to identify. Some will be unmistakable, others might take you back a few decades. A brand new seasonal challenge awaits you daily.
You just need to guess the festive item we are looking for. If you get it right, you will earn 2 entries into the prize draw. Even if your guess is not correct, you will still receive 1 entry just for taking part. At the end of the month, all entries will be pooled together, and one lucky winner will be drawn at random.
The competition started on 1st December 2025 and runs until the end of the month. The final question will be posted on 31st December 2025, with the winner announced here on 1st January 2026. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If the prize is not claimed by 11am on 2nd January 2026, it will be forfeited, and no late claims will be accepted.

not sure how today’s is a ‘festive’ item?
thought the same.. Maybe Daniel got this as a Christmas present once 😀
It was most wanted Christmas Present in the early 80s!
Mistletoe has WHITE berries, not Red, so I put Holly, though the leaves are mistletoe!
Well it didn’t take us long to argue over the results 🤣🤣
A number of newish smooth leaved holly. Have a large one in rear garden and variegated prickly holly in front garden.
Yes definitely first answer is wrong. That’s Holly not mistletoe. Hopefully everybody gets two entries.
No, those are mistletoe leaves, definitely not holly leaves. Apparently, some mistletoe is known as red berry mistletoe and has red berries. I put (red berry) mistletoe to be safe.
I was totally wrong, I did think first mistletoe but I took the other discs into consideration and out advent calender. Now I know it was the only big disc I hope at least i got Today’s right. I’ll see tomorrow. Still a fun game to do.
I wrote Christmas Wreath. The picture looked like a combination of two Christmas plants – Mistletoe and Holly, which I thought could be combined in a wreath. I am clearly thinking too much!
Definitely your first answer is wrong LOL Holly has prickly leaves.
Not all holly have prickly leaves!
I put winterberry.
Mistletoe has white berries not red.
I agree – Iinitally thought mistletoe but then put holly as mistletoe has white berries
Holly here too. I have it growing in my garden
Good luck everyone for this months games.
I thought this thing had white berries!
It does, if we’re thinking of the same thing. The one with red berries has prickly leaves.
There is a third option to the answer.
Good Luck People
