November 2023 – Missing Letters – Win £10
Many of you will be familiar with the game show ‘Wheel of Fortune’ where you have to guess a word or phrase where some of the letters are missing. That is the basis of this months challenge. Each day in November a different word or phrase will be displayed below. However, it will be missing several letters. You just need to work out what the full word should be and submit your answer. If you manage to guess the correct word/phrase correctly you will receive 2 entries into the draw. If you get it wrong you will receive 1 entry (just for giving it a try). All entries will be pooled at the end of the month and one winner drawn at random.
The competition started on 1st November 2023 and runs until the end of the month. The last question will be shown on 30th November 2023, with the winner being announced here on 1st December 2023. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If you don’t claim your prize before 11am on 2nd December 2023 you will unfortunately lose out. No late claims accepted.

At first glance today I was reminded of a cartoon character from the 1980’s with a recent revival, but with 2 letters short I soon realised that it couldn’t be.

Thank goodness for autocorrect (for once), I always use the wrong vowel when spelling this vegetable.

This is going to sound very odd, and I’ve certainly never heard of anything like this happening to anyone else before, but……… I have only just logged into my computer at (21:15) to enter the answer to today’s question. Only to find that a submission has already been successfully submitted. And the same thing happened at, roughly, the same time yesterday. Yes, I’ve refreshed the page each and every day. I get a different puzzle and riddle but no entry box just “the form has been successfully submitted, etc”
Have you tried logging out and logging back in, also try clearing your cache or re-starting your device.
