November 2025 – Word Bridge – Win £10

This Month’s Winner Is…
Bryan
DOB: 22/09/1960
[Claimed]

Complete the two clue phrases by adding one word to each; the two words you used to complete those phrases will then sit together, in that order, to form a third common phrase – this third phrase is the answer you’re trying to find.

You just need to figure out the bridging word that completes both clues. Guess correctly and you’ll earn 2 entries into the prize draw. Even if you don’t get it right, you’ll still receive 1 entry just for taking part. At the end of the month, all entries will be pooled together, and one lucky winner will be drawn at random.

The competition started on 1st November 2025 and runs until the end of the month. The final question will be posted on 30th November 2025, with the winner announced here on 1st December 2025. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If the prize is not claimed by 11am on 2nd December 2025, it will be forfeited, and no late claims will be accepted.

Strange.. a winner announced already before everyone’s had chance to submit the last day. And the answers are already revealed below. I’ve never seen that before.

Along with an answer to the 31st which made me laugh on the other page but maybe wasn’t meant to be a joke as this one doesn’t make any sense, they seem to have just put together the whole lot including the 31st which isn’t even in November lol – your first point is totally right though, very weird… I just assumed I’d missed a day though I couldn’t figure out how 🤔 now your comment suggests it’s been like that for everybody – Fix! Fix! (Not really) But rather preemptive lol and that explains why no new puzzles are… Read more »

I was thinking the same. You have 24 hrs to submit your answer, from 11am I believe. I always do this first thing in the morning when I wake up as I don’t have time the rest of the day to do it. I can’t do it at work and when I get home I have other things to do. Just now at 7am I come here to submit the answer for the last day only to see the answer already in the list and a winner announced. How is a winner drawn before the contest is over?

I got today’s as soon as I saw it, my hubby took a little while to get it

Yes, the image helps get you on the right track.

The first word for yesterdays 29th I got wrong again, I just could not figure what went after water as there were a few. The second word was right as it was easy to guess. oh well 1 point again.

Member
Stuart

I don’t think todays picture helps very well 30th

I got yesterdays, but i dont call it bed linen, i say bed sheet 😁

Member
Hilde

Same. I had bed sheet in my head but sheet cupboard sounded wrong LOL so asked AI and it said it was linen.

Any clues would be much appreciated for number 29 as I’ve been racking my brain all day and still can’t get it. 🤪. I think I’ve got the second word though.

Today’s (29th) is hurting my head. I’ve come to the conclusion that the 4 letter word relates to either a retail or financial entity on the high street, but struggling with the 6 letter word.

Ah got it now – The picture clue helped me with the second word, but not really with the first

Member
GillP

Well I have been sat here for ages trying to find the first word. Second word came straight away. I even had my Mum wracking her brains about it.

Member
Alison

I am pretty sure I have this, if you’re still struggling here is a clue to the first word – A neck I have, but no head; a body, but no arms. I am filled to be emptied, yet drink nothing myself.

If anyone is stuck on the second word, the picture shows a good clue.

Member
Alison

I was the other way around, I got the first word, but you helped me with the second, thanks

Member
victoria

Just got some help on solving number 28.

Member
Jackie

I’m stumped; any clues?
It’s OK, I’ve got it now! That crumpled fabric is a sheet. The first phrase is outside, and the second is quite an old fashioned cupboard (in a big house, or a hospital perhaps).

Me too, can’t get pot out of my head, though still can’t figure it out especially with the picture

Member
tracy

Yes I was stuck with Pot for a long while. but finally got the right answer. Todays though 29th I am not sure about the answer at all. Oh well we will find out tomorrow what the answer was. 🙂

Member
krispii

Today I got stuck with POT in my head – finally got past it….

Member
Susan

So did I! Great mins think alike! 🤣🤣 but I missed yesterday’s competitive totally!

Member
Lostkiwi

Me too! Got there in the end. Will be glad when this competition finishes. Clearly looking at things from the wrong perspective! 😂🤣

Member

Put coffee run for the 27th! It’s what you need at lunchtime 😀 Oh well 🤷‍♀️ Struggling with today’s (28th) as well 🙄

Member
Stuart

I think it will come to you eventually Lostkiwi. Hopefully the clue today actually is good

Member
Susan

Remember to look at the picture as well as the words.

Member
tracy

The picture is a big clue for todays 28th. Good Luck.

Member
Jackie

I didn’t think so, until I had the words. It could be any kind of fabric, for any purpose.

Member
tracy

I thought I was being helpful lol 🙂

NOT A UK LUNCH BAG

Really struggling with todays. (27th) Even roped in my husband but he drew a blank too. Any hints?

Member
Stuart

If i have it right….

Hopefully you have the 2nd Word its fairly obvious.

The first word you may need to think about your childhood

Member
hornetcarp

does it fit with the picture of paper bag and apple?

Member
Alison

I think I have it, but mine does not fit the image as well as I would have liked. The first word doesn’t really come across in the image, unless it is something you would take to this place every day. Do you think we have the same answer Stuart ?

Member
Susan

Thank you Stuart. I think we’ve got an answer. Thank you for your help.

Member
Wendy

The laptop has no reference whatsoever on this one! Thats if im correct 🤣

Member
Pamela Hamby

well I never even got it, try as I might 🙁

Member
Julie

I agree

Member
Paul

You’re right, it had nothing to do with the answer. I did get the answer eventually but the laptop totally stumped me for a while.

Member
tracy

It did with me for a while. I was thinking the laptop was part of the clue too.
