Each day, a pixelated image of an everyday tech item will be revealed – can you identify it? Test your knowledge of gadgets and devices with this months Pixel Tech Challenge. We’re not looking for brand names – just the general name of the item – but feel free to include the brand if you know it!
If you guess the tech item correctly, you’ll earn 2 entries into the prize draw. Even if you don’t get it right, you’ll still receive 1 entry just for taking part. At the end of the month, all entries will be pooled together, and one lucky winner will be drawn at random.
The competition started on 1st September 2025 and runs until the end of the month. The final question will be posted on 30th September 2025, with the winner announced here on 1st October 2025. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If the prize is not claimed by 11am on 2nd October 2025, it will be forfeited, and no late claims will be accepted.
I take it that Sony wasn’t necessary, as it says in the info that brand names aren’t required? I just put play station.
I just put games console but I wasn’t even sure if that’s what it was. I’ve absolutely no idea when it comes to gaming.

I don’t play computer games, and if anything goes wrong with my laptop I ask someone to fix it. This could be difficult.
