April 2026 – Famous Finds Challenge – Win £10

This Month’s Winner Is…
Defairmans
DOB: 21/06/1979
[Claimed]

Every day you will be given a scrambled set of letters, and your challenge is to unscramble them to reveal a famous person. Some will be easy to spot, while others may take a bit more thought. A brand new celebrity word puzzle awaits you daily.

All you need to do is work out the correct name from the anagram. If you get it right, you will earn 2 entries into the prize draw. Even if your answer is not correct, you will still receive 1 entry just for taking part. At the end of the month, all entries will be pooled together, and one lucky winner will be drawn at random.

The competition started on 1st April 2026 and runs until the end of the month. The final question will be posted on 30th April 2026, with the winner announced here on 1st May 2026. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If the prize is not claimed by 11am on 2nd May 2026, it will be forfeited, and no late claims will be accepted.

Today (29th) Clue looks like the actual person which helped 🤣

Member
Nigel

Three answers today, these aren’t the famous one – William Heston and Millis Wheaton

Member
Tracy

Neither of those people was a racing car driver, though.

Member
Pamela Hamby

any clues for today please 🙂

Member
Tracy

You are looking for a male’s name. He played a role in the Avengers. His first name starts with S. I hope this helps.

Member
Pamela Hamby

Thanks Tracy been looking at it on and off all day – not really my type of film but got it straight away when you said 🙂

Member
Sally

Help please!!

Keep thinking I’m getting close but then realise I’m missing a letter; even knowing whether I’m after a male or female would help – I don’t even own a telly so feel as if I’m starting with one hand tied behind my back lol. So any hints for today’s (the 25th) would be very welcome 🙂

Now I’ll just set an alarm to come back later or I know I will forget… 🤦🏻‍♀️😆

Member
Daniel

Shame you don’t have a telly – you’re missing out on this mans wonderful documentaries!

Member
Bernie

I looked him up and he will be celebrated on BBC next month for his 100th birthday. Good for him. I woould like to know what his secret is for reaching that age.

Don’t look at this hint below unless you really need to. 🙂

Think Sir D____ A___________

Member
Sally

Thank you Bernie 🙂 I really did need that hint, although I feel embarrassed now for it! Very exhausted today which doesn’t help, so I’ll use that as my excuse lol

@Daniel – I said I don’t have a TV, I do have a laptop for things that are really worthwhile 😉 and I would definitely agree that these documentaries come under that category

Member
Bernie

Sally, not having a TV can be a good thing! You can be more productive and not waste time watching trivial tv shows that don’t matter.

Member
Tracy

We are the same, having no TV. We like to listen to talking books together. It is a lot more fun than watching the same programs. We did watch The Blue Planet a long while ago, but got so fed up with the clips we had already seen and the long, boring talk about how hard it had been to get the footage shown. The BBC had ruined it for us.

any clues please 🙂

Think magic wizard….

Member
Pamela Hamby

thank you got it now 🙂

Member
Khadija

You’re welcome.

Actor who played a famous wizard

Member
STEVEN

You’re a wizard…

Member
Stuart

Any clue for today

Member
Sally

If you swap the vowels over in your head, the first name is written out over most of the bottom row, and then see what you can make with what’s left! It took me a while, modern singer… Hope that helps but still lets it be a bit cryptic lol

Member
Stuart

Thanks Sally.

It was a stressful day yesterday, my brain couldn’t function

Member
Sally

No worries Stuart, we definitely all have those days 😏 hope yours got better

Member
Bernie

Day 22 hint. Who started Apple Computer.

Member
Stuart

A dollar sign would have been a better clue today 22.04.26 🤣😂

Member
Khadija

True.

Member
Bernie

Here’s a hint for day 21 if anyone needs it. Think of John Wick.

Member
Heather10

Thanks I was completely stuck!

Thank you for the hint

Any clues for today’s (20th)? A golfer maybe?

Member
Pamela Hamby

He’s a famous golfer recently had a car crash in america

Member
Lostkiwi

Thought one letter was an L so it didn’t make sense! Got it now thanks 😊

Member
Khadija

So did I…

Member
Bernie

His real first and middle name is Eldrick Tont. His nickname probably has appealed a lot better for marketing purposes since he is a billionare.

Member
Tracy

Today’s name was very easy. Just how I like them.

Member
Khadija

Any clues for today’s?
Oh just clicked. Got it.

Member
Sally

Well I haven’t! 🤣 Can you give me a clue please? I think I’ve got one of the names but can’t make anything from the rest so may have that wrong… And I don’t know much about religion to be honest, if that’s what the logo thing means? Maybe just the initials?

Member
Sally

Or maybe is it biblical/modern (I don’t think I would have a clue about the latter!)? Or any other clue you could give would be welcome 🙂 I must admit I was very tired when I came to the last one, and put Tiny Storm just to get my one point lol

Member
krispii

Two words, each of six letters.
First word begins with M, second word is a name starting with T.
Hope that’s not giving too much away.

Member
Bernie

If you get the first word, then the second word will be easier. Hint for first word: Not your father, but your ______. 🙂

Member
Sally

Thank you both very much 🙂

Very easy with your clues – earlier all I could see was Thomas and couldn’t unsee it once I had worked that out, but didn’t know what on Earth to do with the remaining letters from it! 🤣 Amazed I remembered to come back in time as well, I would have been kicking myself tomorrow otherwise when I read your replies 😏

Member
krispii

I also saw Thomas first – had to go away and come back!

Member
Khadija

So sorry Sally. Didn’t come on again after I’d figured it out until now. So glad you finally got it.

Member
Sally

@Khadija – oh alright then, I’ll forgive you this time 😇😜

Honestly you’ve got nothing to apologise about! You do sound lovely though 🙂

Member
Khadija

Thank you. So do you.😘

Member
Tracy

Today’s was an easy one, or it was when I checked, but that was after Daniel had corrected the error it had earlier.

Member
Khadija

Yes. Me too.

Member
Pamela Hamby

I thought I had this straight away but my answer has a C in it 🙁

Member
David

Think you’re right, just missing that C in the letters!

Member
Pamela Hamby

thanks for confirming

Member
Stuart

Why does the hint look like Trump?, I hope this isn’t the wider sign of things for the future of the world that we use him as a clue/hint for things

Member
Alison

I thought the same, although it could be JFK, he had a bit of a quiff.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I wouldn’t want to start WWIII over having to be right all the time, no matter the cost.

Member
Tracy

lol

Member
Julie

There is no C in my answer x

Member
hornetcarp

not sure what you have in that case julie!!

Member
Tracy

Daniel has corrected the error

Member
ChelseaFan

Me too

Member
DivitLad

but it has a C?

Member
Tracy

There is a C in the anagram, so who you are thinking of is the right one. Once Daniel corrected it anyway. lol

Member
Pamela Hamby

any clues today please?

Symbolism: A raised or clenched fist is a universal sign of unity, strength, and defiance against oppression.

Member
Wendy

If i have guessed correctly the fist symbol is more to do with what they actually did in 1990.

Member
STEVEN

Her lit would have been more apt for today.

Member
Bernie

Today’s answer was much easier. You don’t need to be as rich as him to be happy. What would you be doing now if you had just a few billion $$$? 🙂

Member
Alison

If I had a few billion… hmm, I’d still be excited to win £10, it’s nice to win. 😊

I’d buy a property for each of my kids and give them monthly money, not so they can live doing nothing but just so they can actually pay their bills and not having to worry about having money to buy food as I am at the moment. We’ve been living in poverty for ages and I’m beginning to wonder why I’m even alive. What the point of it all is if I can’t even buy bread or milk or bananas. I’m on UC and also work and I still can’t afford to buy food and go to a food bank… Read more »

I am so sorry to hear about how much you are struggling. I wish there were something I could do to help. I know what it is like to struggle to pay for food and all the other bills. I am registered disabled with chronic pain due to early-onset OA, so I am unable to work. I hope things get better for you soon.

Thanks Tracy

It’s amazing, people like Elon Musk have a such a grotesque sum of money they couldn’t possibly spend it, yet such a small amount – less than they make in a second – would change most of our lives. 😞

I hope the sun shines for you Hilde, I hope it shines soon.

Hilde, search for Sammy Ingram videos on YouTube how to manifest money. You can find success stories on her Facebook page although they are mostly about SP success. One of her long time coaches named Nikki manifested millions recently and she explains how she did it on her YT channel The Assumption Effect. Everything is explained in the free YT videos so you don’t need buy anything unless you want to. When you get sick and tired of being sick and tired, use it as motivation to CONSISTENTLY affirm for what you want and don’t think against it. Even if… Read more »
