Google told me the MPC (Monetary Policy Committee) sets interest rates. I did think it was Bank of England but decided to double check.

I put the bank of England then checked and realised I was wrong. The MPC do.aybe Daniel can accept both answers

I instantly thought of the Bank Of England too (which I was pretty certain about) but then I also found that answer which I’d never heard of, so I put the MPC anyway.

Me too….. Hopefully both will be accepted. As it is the 9 members of the MPC that make the decision which is distributed through the Bank of England

Used two different calculators cos I thought the first must be broken – I would have thought the number of minutes in a week would be more than that…

I used a calculator as well, but then when I started to put the answer in it came up as a suggestion so I’ve obviously used it as an answer before, presumably to the same question on a previous quiz – I never really clear my cookies/history on my mobile browser so it always shows when I start typing an answer I’ve submitted before, and it’s funny how often that’s the case (sorry Daniel! 😜)

The first question this month that I have not had to confirm before submitting. I have been helping my son learn his elements.

Todays question – is it the name of character or the person who played him????

It clearly says the narrator….

Why state the film rather than the book unless they want the actor’s name?

tracy

I put both names in my answer, the narrator is the person telling the story, but in the film, it is the actor.

After reading the book, I wouldn’t even go near the film. I found it mind numbingly boring, but I’m one of those people who has to finish a book once it is started. For different reasons, I have never been able to watch ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas’ The only book that has brought me to tears, I just can’t bring myself to put real faces to the characters!

I put Colourfulness……..I wonder if that will be accepted.
