Every day you will be shown two word clues with a missing link between them, and your challenge is to work out the word that connects them both. The missing word must complete the first word when added to the end, and complete the second when added to the beginning. Some connections will be easy to spot, while others may really make you think. A brand new word challenge, wrapped up in an autumn-themed design, awaits you daily.
All you need to do is work out the missing word that completes both sides of the connection. If you get it right, you will earn 2 entries into the prize draw. Even if your answer is not correct, you will still receive 1 entry just for taking part. Make sure your answer creates a valid word on both sides of the puzzle. At the end of the month, all entries will be pooled together, and one lucky winner will be drawn at random.
The competition started on 1st September 2026 and runs until the end of the month. The final question will be posted on 30th September 2026, with the winner announced here on 1st October 2026. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If the prize is not claimed by 11am on 2nd October 2026, it will be forfeited, and no late claims will be accepted.

Congratulations to last month’s winners, and good luck for this month’s games, everyone.
