December 2025 – Santa’s Advent Challenge – Win £10

This Month’s Winner Is…
John
DOB: 08/05/1970
[Claimed]

Every day brings a new festive puzzle for you to unwrap. You might be asked to finish a familiar Christmas phrase, decode a holiday clue, guess the movie from a seasonal quote, spot a festive logo, or unscramble a Christmas anagram. Each day offers something different, keeping the countdown fun and surprising.

You just need to solve the daily challenge. Get it right and you will earn 2 entries into the prize draw. Even if you do not get it right, you will still receive 1 entry just for taking part. At the end of the month, all entries will be pooled together, and one lucky winner will be drawn at random.

The competition started on 1st December 2025 and runs until the end of the month. The final question will be posted on 31st December 2025, with the winner announced here on 1st January 2026. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If the prize is not claimed by 11am on 2nd January 2026, it will be forfeited, and no late claims will be accepted.

Lostkiwi answered my post on Khadija’s thread and mentioned that the clover looked like the double 𐐒B, which is the Bailey’s logo, along with their Irish connections and then noticing they also make coffee, it convinced me.

Thanks Lostkiwi, that was such a good catch, 😊 you found the reason why it was a clover and not a shamrock👍 This one drove me mad, but it was actually quite clever.

Member
Lostkiwi

No worries 👍

Member
victoria

Just managed to solve the anagram without any help. 😃

Member
victoria

Thanks to the post by Justin I now know what it is, I think.

Justin

Luck of the i….

Member
Julie

I thought it was Irish coffee

Member
ChelseaFan

Me too 🤷🏻‍♀️

Member
Susan

So did I! I love baileys though!

Member
GillP

So did I. I have never had Baileys with froth on the top.

Member
Susan

I put Irish coffee too. Baileys isn’t frothy. I did consider Baileys but the froth put me off. This months competitions are so frustrating. The pictures are very ambiguous and some of the answers are tenuous at best.

Member
Khadija

The flag is a clue

Member
victoria

I can’t think of even several things what 29 could be. Any clues would be much appreciated.

Member
Saintsuzi

It’s not a 4 leafed clover, it has a specific name in a specific country 🇮🇪

Member
Lostkiwi

Think I’m being dense today. It says ‘festive logo’ so not a drink? Is it not the other coffee chain? We’ve already had the other one!

Member
Stuart

Doesn’t look anything like it. This has been the worst game so far

Member
Lostkiwi

Agree. Clues are very ambiguous for both games

Member
Khadija

Oh I think I’ve got it….

Member
tracy

Saintsuzi has given a great clue for todays 29th question. A lot of people buy this drink.

Member
Alison

You’ve now confused me more, I thought we were looking for a company, not a drink 😖

I might just put “better clue next time please”. 🤣

Member
Lostkiwi

So did I. Could the 4 leaf item be the logo? A backwards and normal B ? 🤷‍♀️

Member
Alison

I am stuck between two, your B thought is one of them, but on its own doesn’t have froth, the other is not the right colour when served, but is brown before it’s settled. The caramel on the table points to B… Sort of. Argghh! Does anyone have any paracetamol, I’m getting a headache. 🤣

Member
Lostkiwi

Any clues for today (29th)? Could be several things I think!

Member
Saintsuzi

It’s not a 4 leafed clover, it has a specific name in a specific country 🇮🇪

Member
Khadija

First letter of that specific name please? Or any other clues?

Member
Saintsuzi

It’s a sh****ck

Merry Christmas everyone 🤗

Happy Christmas to you and everyone on FBL

Member
Susan

Happy creusons to everyone here.

Member
victoria

Think I’ve figured it out with some help. If im right it’s a well known chocolate brand

Member
Khadija

Yes, I got that too.

Member
victoria

I put happy Christmas too. Any ideas on number 24?

Member
Pamela Hamby

well it’s showing AFTER this time on the clock and lots of people by this confectionary at christmas 🙂
Well that’s what I’ve put anyway lol

Member
Hilde

your clue helped me a lot

Member
tracy

think about the picture, with the clock and the lovely treat sat in front.

Member
Sally

Well I put ‘Season’s Greetings’ for the last, and to me it still seems to fit… what did others put, or did you all get it right?!

Member
Paul

Yeah I could’ve sworn that was the right answer because of the obvious split screen effect but then I can see that the middle section looks jolly, and the other two look miserable.

Member
Lostkiwi

I think I put happy Christmas and later on thought seasons greetings. Oh well. Wrong on both counts 😂

Member
Wendy

I also just put happy christmas as the other two sides looked sad and miserable. This months is tough but fun.

Member
Andrew

Three snowy pictures, I put “Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow”. Never mind!

Member
Susan

So did, looking at the photos all i could think of was the weather pause us frightful, and the middle was snowing so I thought it fitted. Oh well at least 1 point.

Member
krispii

Same!

Member
Alison

I agonised over this one and can’t remember what I ended up with, but it wasn’t that.

Seeing as we have an account, I don’t see why our answers are not listed too and whether we got one entry or two, especially on some which fall under the category of “well, you can see that is what I meant to put”. 😖🤣

Member
Sally

Ooo that would definitely be interesting! Probably too much work though… Daniel has come on sometimes and said that answers would be accepted and stuff like that, but I haven’t seen him on the comments for ages – I guess he’s just busy this month 😏

Member
Hilde

I put the right answer because I saw several seasons where everyone was sad except the one with the Christmas tree in it.

Member
tracy

I got the right answer, as only the middle section are smiling and the outer edged ones are under clouds and looking fed up.

Member
Khadija

So did I. Was so sure that was correct. Oh well….

Member
victoria

Me too I put men. Any ideas about number 22nd have no idea myself.

Member
Andrew

“The weather outside is frightful”? It’s all I could come up with after thinking about it for a while.

Member
Alison

Are you answering the 22nd? We haven’t finished today’s yet.

Member
tracy

there is also Tis the season to be jolly.

Member
Susan

I thought the same !

Member
Alison

This was a bad choice for a puzzle, if there are 2 common answers, they should accept both, how are we to know if they are woke or not.

Member
Khadija

I saw the different weathers and someone exchanging gifts.Got a saying from that. That’s if I’m right. The 4 different weather times of the year????

Member
tracy

I put men as well as there are 2 answers for it.

Member
Khadija

I put men!

Member
Lostkiwi

I believe that’s the traditional (bible) version. I put both men and all. Technically they’re both right!
Absolutely no idea about today’s (22nd)

Member
Andrew

Might be wrong, but a clue to what I put for 22nd is “The weather outside is frightful”.

Member
Julie

Me too

Member
GillP

So did I

Member
Susan

I put men too but I’ve been singing it wrong for years as I thought it was All Men!

Member
Lostkiwi

The second word today (21st) could be one of two. The traditional version or the modern version. Which to put? Maybe both? 🤔

Member
Stuart

I went with the generic

Member
Marie

I am stuck between 3 commonly used ones.

Member
Alison

I went with tradition, after all, Christmas is a tradition and this phrase stems from the Bible, but it’s not the best phrase for a puzzle, because there are a few correct answers.

Member
victoria

Thanks for the clue, I’ve got it now
