LIVE – July 2026 – Summer Quiz – Win £10

Every day you will be given a question all about summer and holidays, and your challenge is to work out the correct answer. From famous destinations and travel trivia to sunshine, beaches, and seasonal fun, some questions will be easy, while others may really test your knowledge. A brand new summer-themed challenge awaits you daily.

All you need to do is submit the answer you think is correct. If you get it right, you will earn 2 entries into the prize draw. Even if your answer is not correct, you will still receive 1 entry just for taking part. At the end of the month, all entries will be pooled together, and one lucky winner will be drawn at random.

The competition started on 1st July 2026 and runs until the end of the month. The final question will be posted on 31st July 2026, with the winner announced here on 1st August 2026. The winner will then have 24 hours to claim their £10 cash prize. If the prize is not claimed by 11am on 2nd August 2026, it will be forfeited, and no late claims will be accepted.

First one of this quiz I’ve had to look up… I guess I’m not a big fan of salad, although cheese is a different matter!

I am the same Sally. I love mozzarella, especially in those bites that are perfect for dunking into dips 🙂 🙂

It doesn’t matter how many times I tell myself that you can’t click A, B, C & D, I still try to do it. It’s like my brain says “Hello? Finger? You’re doing it again, when will you lean? Yet my finger says “Look, I’m the only one around here doing actual physical labour, so shut up!” 🤣🤣

I do it too 🫤😳

Thank you Julie, I’m so glad I’m not the only person to have arguments with their own fingers. Phew! 🤣

Surely todays (4th) really depends where your taking your summer holiday 🤣😂

For day 1 I just put C. Today I see the answer is C) June. It would really help if you put an example of the format you are wanting as there is no close bracket on the actual picture with the question. Or is it as long as 1 of the bits is there it is classed as correct?

Member

Either format would work just so long as the answer is the right one.

Alison

It doesn’t matter as long as it is clear you chose the correct answer. They have to put both so the people who just wrote “June” know they were right too.

Yes I agree with Tracy and Allison (surprise surprise! 😁) – as far as I know Daniel admirably checks all the answers manually, it’s not some computer thing looking at them so you don’t have to get the format in some specific condition for it to be considered correct 👍

Thanks👍

You might agree with me, but you don’t know how to spell my name Sallly 🤣 Don’t worry, I’ve been called much worse.

Oh dear 😳 I do apologise Alison (it did it that time too, but I proofread properly!) – I was using the speech to text and it always seems to spell it that way no matter how many times I’ve used the correct name on this forum and you would think it would get to grips with it lol; no excuse though, I almost always double check and obviously failed miserably this time… I do hope you’ll forgive me?! 🙇🏻‍♀️😉

I am the same as Alison; I even have family members misspell my name. 🙂 🙂

With an E Tracy? My mum’s friend is Tracy, at one time I thought it was with an E, so I did spell it wrong for a while, now I check previous cards they sent me to make sure I write them in my book correctly. What a load of faff!

I’m just joking with you, if it makes it easier, spell my name with 2 L’s, I really don’t mind, I only did it so I could put 3 L’s in your name. 🤣.

When I was younger more than not, my birthday cards would be Allison, I wouldn’t mind, some were from my own family! 🤨

My dad uses my nickname in cards, he chose my nickname, he is the only person who calls me it, yet he spells it wrong every time! 😵‍💫

Hahaha I never even noticed the extra L in my name; very cleverly done but sadly too subtle for my tiny brain to catch on until you said it, but I love it 🤣 well done 👌😜 I’ve always kind of liked my name because it seems to be in the general consciousness enough that I don’t often have to spell it out (my last name is a different matter entirely which I have to spell out every single time & yet commonly mistaken even after I’ve just said it, so I do actually sympathise massively with your problem!), but… Read more »

Aside from the spelling of my name, I rarely come across other Alison’s, similar to you, it’s a well known name, but not common, or popular. All those old names have come right back into fashion, Jack, Archie, Ben, Joshua to name a few. I don’t know you, but there are no rule books when it comes to raising children, so you say you were a crap mother, but you were his mother! It sounds like he is doing well for himself, my hubby has a barrister in the family and she is living in the Caymen Islands, so it… Read more »
